Love On The Line

Written By - Jay Rougeaux.
Performed By - Sean Connery & Oral Flossit

Written by Jay at particularly low point in his life. Spending 24 hours a day on telephone sex lines, Jay was eventually declared bankrupt and legally blind. However, the experience inspired this wonderful lament which he sold to Sean Connery, who later recorded the song with Oral Flossit

Lyrics

She's in your every dream
In your heart, she's your beauty queen
You wish she was by your side night and day
But you know it will never be the way

She's in a magazine
But that's where she's always been
And though it hurts, when the truth is told
Your woman's a paper centre fold

And your a very lonely guy
Every woman you've loved has made you cry
Now you eat alone and you sleep alone
And the women in your life are on a telephone

And is there a telephone ringin' in your arse
Is there a sign on your door saying
love don't enter here no more....

Your homes a mess but you don't care
Dirty magazines lying everywhere
And pictures of nude ladies on every wall
And your friends they no longer call

Your telephone bill you can't afford to pay
Your callin 15, 50, 60 times a day
And though you won't find love on a telephone line
You get 30 seconds relief every time

And you won't leave your house no more
Pizza and beer delivered to your door
But you probably couldn't find the store anyway
Cos your eye sights fadin' day by day

And is there a telephone ringin' in your arse
Is there a sign on your door saying
love don't enter here no more....
